First I would like to apologise to the group. Looking back I might have overreacted. You also might notice that my typing is little better, thanks to getting real keyboard and mouse. I don't know how people can type on a laptop,I know now I can't. After spending a week back to the area,I proved to myself what I had suspected about the big dog. But he does know his karaoke. Very good show. Better than I remembered. And he seems to be the real deal. I couldn't find one thing that he's said here htat was made up or exaggeration. The only thing that was dissapointement was the laser disks. I remember from years ago BD set himself apart from othere kjs by using the Pioneer lasers. Even though he said he converted them to vcd, I didn't see him use them once for the old stuff. And he look like he gets a lot of excercise running the wireless mikes around to people. But no filler music, one song into the next.

and to some of the Steven Kapplan-like people out there that contacted me, a quote.
"but - and I'm only saying this because I care - there are a lot of decaffeinated brands on the market today that are just as tasty as the real thing."  bye pghpat

Oh Sure, Each night before I go to bed,  I think to myself,  "If I had one wish in this world, it would be to meet that absolutely FASCINATING person from Karaoke Scene ... PHdPat"

Tha nks ..bye Pghkapplan <yawn>

So despite your supposed "apology", you are still insisting to everybody you tracked down somebody in here that doesn't want a location divulged, and pretending to know who they are ? Where they work, and you were at THEIR show... Of course there's no evidence of this, and assuming by some strange chance you were accurate, what a lovely Olive Branch you offer    LEAVE him alone... Some backhanded "apology"  LOL , stop pretending to know locations of a person who wants to stay hidden !!!

When somebody says they want privacy, and they want to be left alone, why not just LEAVE THEM ALONE !

Umm.. i don't know what this is about.. but since when are laptops hard to type on? I ONLY use a laptop, and I hate the keyboard I am typing on now.

Actually, I took the keyboard off of my laptop, and sanded all of the letters, characters, and EVERYTHING off.... and put it back on. It looks much better now, imo.

Now NO one can borrow it to check their damn email... gawd, that irritates me... NO, get your grubby hands off of my beautiful ibook.

I really enjoyed that movie. Val Kilmer was the perfect smartass/genious in that.

Lol, Big Mike, I belong to an "elite" group, eh? It is called... taking keyboarding as a course when I was a kid.... I am slowly erasing the letter's from my daughter's keyboard as well, and teaching her to properly touch type... is going.. er.. interestingly:) (Hehehe, her mouse is soooo cute, it is an optical dora the explorer mouse made for tiny hands.. too adorable:)

But, again.. people WON"T come to your house, and ask to go online for a minute, if they can't tell the keyboard:) Plus, some of my mac keys are different than you pc people... so, please... come have fun with my computer:) Mua hahahaha....

That was a serious question I was reading the specs on a laptop and it said spill proof keyboard. One of my biggest fears is spilling a drink on it.

well.. like i showed ya... you can buy covers for them;)

But, to be honest, i have only zapped one keyboard in my entire life, and it wasn't on my laptop.

But remember.. laptop keyboards are EASY to replace. Unsnap, unplug, put in new one. No biggie:) They are usually designed so if you DO zap em with a softdrink, it only hurts the keyboard, which again, is easy to replace.

I took apart my computer keyboard and fixed it by redrawing in the traces that were nuked off when I spilled the soda. But, then again, i am cheap.

It has an overlay built into the keyboard under the keys but above the other stuff.
