 Hi there all Kj's and karaoke singers. I am a KJ and am wondering if there is a way to make home SCDG's. I have a cavs player and a Voco Pro Unit. I have been doing this stuff for 20 years. The question is: I want to take all my CDG's and put them on to Super CDg's, they say you can put almost 1,000 songs on it. If so how? If so what kind of disc do i use? If that is not possible. I have a really nice laptop. Fully loaded with everything. If i use KJRipnZip will the quality of the rip be good. I can download them off the internet site and they come in zipped files, but that takes for ever. I have over 30,000 CDG's and would like to just use them and then stay updated. Then what is the best program to use to use the laptop. I hear about this ROxbox but never used it + I want to still be able to use MTU for key changer. PLease tell me about this stuff, i am from the old school and not very computer savy. Thank you

While you are still here you may want to go over to the Tech forum. There are a lot of thread there that are still on page one that will be of interest to you.

I am sorry I cant be of help on this matter cos i use different format. Hope some one will chip in.

Since you have the fully loaded laptop, why not just eliminate the discs all together and go to a computer based show?  You won't be sorry!
