Anyone using Goldwave recording software to record songs? I'm having some problems with the left channel. When recording, everything is fine. Both left and right channels are "moving" or getting "feed" but when I play back any music (even old songs recorded that played through both channels at one time), now only play on the right channel. If you have Goldwave and know the program really well, please contact me through my e-mail, leave a message in the "subject" your name and "Goldwave help" . Thanks!! You can also contact me through KSK through PM.
Also, I'd like to hear on this discussion what programs or devices you use to record and which you feel are are the least complicated and easy to understand directions.

Connie, I'm not familiar with the program at all, sorry..... Wish I could help.
but: Word of advice.
Copy this thread over to the "Techie Forum" if ya haven't already. That's where all the geeks who can answer ya usually hang out. (and I mean geek.... in the nicest sort of way) :D They might not see it here in the Singers' Forum.
Hope you get your answers though.

Only thing I can think of is check your recording setup in windows, not the playback. Bring up the playback, and on one of the pulldown menus is the recording, select that and make sure the balance is in the middle on Line In, etc.....I use Audition 2.0 and I like it, but its all what you like personally...

Thank you, Russ. My husband found the problem with Goldwave. It was something I overlooked. There's a thing to balance the channels and the left was completely down. Now we are having problems with the mixer (not enough mic volume and everything is turned up to capacity). Mic is fine and work great if plugged into karaoke Pioneer v-10 player. Seems to be a problem where the mic is plugged into the mixer (all four of them don't work right).

If you have a paid version, they are pretty good at support...
Good luck!
