This survey is for KJ's who own their own rig and equipment only.  Remember is by hour, so $200 per show, 5 hour show = $40 hour

Me thinks you need to add some more $$$$ to your poll survey.

My prices start at $250 for a four hour show for bar/public gigs, which is just over $60 per hour.

For private parties it is $400 for 3 hours which is $133 and hour.  Overtime for private parties that go more than 3 hours is charged at $100 per hour.

I did put a over $60 in the survey, but it guess it didn't take.

I'll contact the moderators to see how to edit the survey, cause I can't seem to do it by editing my original message

we include setup/teardown time into the show price, 30 minutes for each.  do you also do this?  do you charge for drive time if the show is out of town?

Looks like the moderators fixed the survey.  Please if you have not had the opportunity to provide input to the survey, now is a great time!!!

It doesn't surprise me the price per hour is all over the place. I averaged out my
cost per hour because I do charge different rates for private parties. I think people who only do private parties are going to be more on the high end then a regular gig at a bar. Especially if they are giving the bar owner a break for letting the KJ store their equipment there etc...
