This survey is for KJ's who own their own rig and equipment only. Remember is by hour, so $200 per show, 5 hour show = $40 hour |

Me thinks you need to add some more $$$$ to your poll survey. My prices start at $250 for a four hour show for bar/public gigs, which is just over $60 per hour. For private parties it is $400 for 3 hours which is $133 and hour. Overtime for private parties that go more than 3 hours is charged at $100 per hour. |

It doesn't surprise me the price per hour is all over the place. I averaged out my cost per hour because I do charge different rates for private parties. I think people who only do private parties are going to be more on the high end then a regular gig at a bar. Especially if they are giving the bar owner a break for letting the KJ store their equipment there etc... |
