Karaoke Forums

What are you doing this summer? Anybody taking any fun trips? What musical things are you doing (karaoke or otherwise)? Is everyone still coming here as much as they did six months ago? Do you divide your time between here and other singing sites or do you only come to this one?  

I have not been able to record for quite a while, just too busy. We've been doing a bit of traveling here and there, for one thing. My TV site has been super busy, too.  I might get some real money for it.  I am incorporating and will be a "real" business

Oh, and my mother-in-law moved in with us (that's a good thing), so there has been plenty of packing and unpacking, cleaning, adjusting, etc.  And now my band is getting together, finally, maybe  So, things have been hectic!!

We did some karaoke in San Diego twice during June, when we went there...other than that, I haven't done any singing!  I have been trying to find time to do that this week so that I can get my voice warmed up.  We are going out to karaoke Wednesday and meeting up with my new band members, so I don't want to croak!

I listened to a few songs on SS while I was out of town, too....but had nothing new to post, woe is me!

Hi Suzanne !  :wave:  Well.. let'see...... I haven't really been spending that much time on any sites.. but I'm catching up now.  I already took two early vacations in May.. I may be travelin' to see my folks up north for the 4th of July.  I did get a chance to sit in the audience of 'America's Got Talent' ... which is on tonight on NBC so look for me in the audience!  :dancin: There was an 11 year old girl that just blew us away with her singing!    Other than that... I'm just chillin'....  8) Sounds like your buisiness is going well... good deal!  :biggrinthumb: Good luck with all your new ventures!

Mostly I'm up to no good.  Not much of a change from what I'm doing during any of the other seasons.

well i broke a sweat tryin to record that show tonight to try to see you guys...2 hours of hasselhoff  and no reward of "hat hair mania" !! maybe this is the producers way to get me to watch the whole season.. i shall never give up though sweet friend !! god as my witness i will have footage that will haunt you forever !! mwua ha ha ha  :reddevil:

[shadow=red]Well I haven't been to karaoke in months... just split with my boyfriend though and since I live with him I have inadvertantly gained a babysitter... soooo I plan on getting out to karaoke much more often now, I miss it lots. No trips for me, they cost money [/shadow]

Hey Suzanne! Well... I don't watch too much TV these days but I was invited to go so I went. The show I was at will actually air this Wednesday the 28th. There were a few really good acts.. some clog dancers that just rocked! An 11 year old girl who blew us away with her singing.. a family of singers much like the Jackson 5 but with girls, and a 6'5" male angel dressed in a skimpy little skirt and high heals.. very swishy. It was an ok show... much like the old Gong Show.

Well there's a big surprise  LMAO

Hi guys - I've been working and working and working
Plus stalking Kappy- that's a full time job.
Now it is time to play - I'm going on a 7 day cruise in July, Woo Hoo!

Hi Suzanne!

I took a 4 day trip out to LA to visit with Joyce (Cantstopsinging) and met Sherree and Rob (Qboyvern) while I was there.  Had an awesome time.

Then when I returned Steve (Buster) came to the U.S. from England about two weeks after I got back from LA.  He was here for 4 weeks and we stayed busy all the time.  We went to the Grand Ole Opry, Graceland, Hot Springs Arkansas and many other local places...too numerous to mention.  We met Lynda (Kuntrygurl) and her husband one weekend for dinner.  We had a blast!  It's been a great year.

Sounds like things are going well for you.  Congrats on the business and also on the band!  Good luck in everything you do!
