What song do you use to chase away the blues? I mean either sing, or listen to. I personally love the songs What I Got and Better Days when I am feeling low, both to sing and to listen to... curious what songs make other people feel happy. :dancin:

Mack the Knife is what I always use. It traps me the way I do it by starting off gentle and getting more and more loose though the song. It's also a warm-up song for me.
EDIT: By loose I mean loosening up and getting louder and more fun.

Cool, love that song (and heard it over on SS... awesome)
EDIT: I didn't think anything else but I bet someone would have horribly misconstrued it and used it against you

You're welcome again. I was a tad stunned how you swung from one end of the spectrum right to the other.... you remind me of me! :D

Those are two good ones! That Love Shack video was fun when it came out. I've been hearing "Let It All Hang Out" more and more on one station up here. I hadn't heard it for years until now. I'm not even sure who does it.

a dog died dark green
about 2 inches tall
with a strawberry blonde paw
sunglasses and a bonnet

the dog that brought me so much joy

Dunno what it was about the 80s... the worse your hair looked, the weirder the music was, the better. Also we all had to try and dress just like the celebs (Madonna, Duran Duran, Flock of Seagulls...omg that HAIR LMAO ) 80's music is often an instant pick-up.

Yeah we'll have to....we have a massive stack of duets on the way. Actually the one we just did is an awesome pick me up! Danger! High Voltage by Electric 6. I giggled all through recording it... took me all day and some of the night to get it done. LMAO

Sheree, The Hombres did it. 1967 One Hit Wonder. Sounded like an Acid or LSD trip. Memphis foursome. B.B. Cuningham, Gary Wayne McEwen, Johnny Will Hunter and Jerry Masters. All but Masters were members of Ronny & the Daytonas touring band. Hunter died in 1976. Cunningham's brother Bill, was a member of the Box Tops. (The Letter)
If I'm down listening to almost any olides or rock stuff gets me back up. That's why I love Karaoke so much. Always lifts me. :dancin:
