Did you enter the names into a large search engine such as "Google" ?

Was "Ethel" the actual name she went by ?

Ethel, yes that is and was the name. She may have even recorded under the name Ethel Campbell-Leedy, though I doubt it. Name recognition was even more imortant then than it is now.

I'm trying it this way because aunt Ethel is so hard to talk to. Imagine an old salty-dog sailor. Now put him in a dress, give him a guitar and a mic and you'll have Ethel. OK, she is actually pretty but that's about the only difference.

EDIT: I should add that she's only half as friendly as the old salt.
