I'm not very good with the whole Watt/Ohm physics thing so was wondering if I can get some help...  I need to put together a 2nd karaoke system that is lighter weight, yet durable so that my other DJ can carry them.  I would like to stay with using 2 each of the Yamaha S115V which are 500/1000 Watt.  Now then, if I'm understanding the whole Watt thing, the EMX 312SC would be too small and my best option be the Yamaha EMX 512SC powered mixer.  Or do I have it all wrong and should I be looking at something a little different?

Those speakers should have an amp that pushes 500 watts per channel at 8 ohms.
