I just got a complete setup working with my pc. Purchased a second video card with tv out. Hooked my pc to an old karaoke mach and then on to an amp. Use winamp with autokj. Man I am suprised and pleased. All works great. I have the tv out with a Y conn so I can have 1 tv for the singer and a second for the audience and I use my monitor to run winamp on the 1st video card.

Now - I would like to do this with a laptop to make things more portable. Is there a pcmia card that has tv out so I can run it to the tv's? How do you guys and gals do it with laptops? I can run the show with winamp on the lcd display of the laptop but don't I need a second card for the tv's like I have with the pc?

Suggestions?

VGA To Video converter something like this http://www.starkelectronic.com/pi4925.htm works great I use a Video to VGA converter to go from my video out on my RSQ to a Flat Pannel 19 inch Computer monitor ,,,so I dont have to lug a TV around. this is what I use and I believe I was the (cant spell it ..) ginny pig ...I think KNIGHTSHOW got one after I did. works great http://www.sundialmicro.com/Video-VGA-c ... 1_442.html

TIA If your laptop has an s-video out already you have what you need besides the dual display capability. If not you can get a scan convertor from www.tigerdirect.com that will allow you from the vga out convert the signal to tv. Or you could use a computer monitor if you can't get a convertor.
