I've been a newbie all my life. Is there a 12 step program for newbies?

Had to change my name. The old name was a URL so I'm lucky I didn't get kicked.

Thanks again for the welcome Sinnamon.

Y'all might notice I picked my Native American name as a user name. Thank god for autocomplete and auto login. I'm too lazy to type this in everytime.

I hope this helps. I'll bet Kappy would never even take a picture like this, let alone be as proud of it as I am.

I need to mention something while I have the chance. I actually am embarrassed after singing. Everytime I get done with a song I retreat from the stage with my head hanging down and am afraid to acknowlege anyone in the club intil I get to sit and have a sip of my courage. I don't know why. This may help explain why sometimes I can go a whole night without even turning in a slip.

Does anybody else do this or I am just a creep, a weirdo, ...what the hill am I doin' here, I don't belong here.

I don't belong here.

Sometimes I just quote songs that express how I feel at the moment. That song is perfect.

Hi Chuck, and welcome.

So glad you took the first step, and took charge of your situation.  We all are here because we share something very special in common. Like yourself, we also came to recognise that our lives were becoming, or had become unmanageable. We could no longer deny that we were prisoners of something that was robbing us of control, dignity, and slowly but surely alienating most of those that were also captives to our..... hold on, stuffed nose

<pulls out tube of testers glue..  Hmmm,  damn kids are always building models>

today we will be discussing step two... where's my, Hmmm  <flask falls out've jacket pocket and pint of scotch shatters on floor..   Who swapped my jacket with theirs ?>

OOOPS,  My beeper has just gone off, have to run home, family emergency...

<Elixir turpenhydrate cough expectorant with Codeine falls out pant inseam with broken rubber band next to it on way out door>

<Peeks head in 5 minutes later  :drunk: >

<Has anyone seen my kids Xanax ?>

I understand what you mean. When I get done singing I never
look at the crowd. I'm embarrassed and don't know what to say after
applause. I usually giggle and say thank you. I'm almost more comfortable
if there is no applause and I just put in the next song.
