Ok I know there isnt a way but it is something I would like todo. A few times Ive had a system crash when setting up for a show. So I'm using a laptop fora backup. I helped and old friend at a show sat first time with a laptop (hooked into his 808) . It was a system where I dont think he has cleaned the optics in his cd player in 5 years and the difference in audio quality was noticed by the regulars right away..Now I am trying to further expand the capabilities.
I can use wireless to access the music on the system computer.. I can use Rox on the system comp by sharing it. But I would like to control the software on the system comp and thereby use the audio outs on the main computer. We dont have 3 display capabilities on the laptop so I would like to access the displays on the main too using the laptop strictly as a wireless terminal..Far fetched ? Probably at this time...But it could lead to more advanced projects which can be shared by multiple computers....Ideas?
Xp pro has remote desktop but there should be a simpler direct way....

for the displays, you can go to a video splitter...
