I'm coming to Chicago early next year and might be able to squeeze an extra week out of it! Would like to revisit LA 'cos I loved it when I was last there in the 70s. |

I always wanted to visit England since I first saw Marry Poppins as a kid! All that popping in and out of chalk pavement pictures, tea parties on the ceiling, dancing with the chimney sweeps on the rooftops ... I can still have my fantasies about such a place, can't I? Chim chim charoooo!

Sounds great Barry ... could you introduce me to Julie Andrews please?  Seriously ... I idolized her as a kid!! ~Ow wouldn't it be loverly~!
I know .. I know ... she's married to Blake Edwards (last I heard) and maybe even living here in the states for all I know. Loved her beautiful voice!!! My love of music as a kid came from some of those old musical soundtracks, 'My Fair Lady'... 'Sound Of Music'... to name a few. Thanks for the kind invitation!  I wasn't kidding about always wanting to visit England ... it would be bloody great!!!

I've managed to squeeze the whole of February off work for my little Stateside tour so Jimmy will definitely be getting a visit in NYC. Chicago is the reason I'm going in the first place and California will have the dubious pleasure of my company for two whole weeks! Penny and I can be bribed to stay away from your shows but, otherwise, We will definitely be seeing you! Please post details of where you are likely to be and We will come and visit as many as possible! Cheers, Barry. |
