i was wondering their are so many new genres of music, maybe do you think they could be added to the list of genres to choose from when you go to submit a song?

It really depends if the genre will actually last compared to the old genres,  No need to search for Emo, Nu Metal, or Reggaton songs next year.  Meanwhile they'll just go in the Rock, Alt Rock, Urban classification.

I think there should be at least a UK and Canadian catagory.  Both have a very dynamic musical heritage.  They tend to get lost sometimes in the general catagories on the current Singers Showcase site. :2cents:

I agree there do need to be a few more general categories....truth is there is no way you could fit all categories on here lol. People feel the need to pigeonhole everything so there are sub categories for every category. Hope more get added though, it would make the genre system a lot more precise.
