Am I allowed to use Sound Choice discs to sub? Just wondering because they are protected, I guess meaning by copyright? https://mail.karaokescene.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=6889 |

Just wondering if it is permissable to use Sound Choice cdg's as your back up music for subbing. With all the lagalities, I just want to know if I could do this and not get in trouble. Thanks for your replies. |

Don't worry Sound Choice will be looking in the other direction when your subbing |

okay! :D :oh yeah: Thank you guys so much for your reply. Now if I could figure out why I have to upgrade my membership when I haven't even subbed any songs yet. I thought I would be able to submit 5 songs before I have to upgrade. |

Don't know if you have subbed yet, but without the upgrade, you can only sub 1 per day to a maximum of 5 songs no larger than 3mb if i'm not mistaken. |

Yes, Lonman, you are correct. I noticed when I updated my profile it showed I could submit up to 5 songs. Now, I'm running into the problem of trying to change my file over to mp3 and it's looking like I need some kind of codec that's missing and have no idea what to do now. Any help you could give here would be very much appreciated. I can't believe how much crap I've had to go through so far just to get a song ready to submit. It's taking forever to get this stuff together. thanks guys! |

If you don't have a program that will convert a WAV file to MP3 already, then just download the current free version of Musicmatch Jukebox. You can convert your files easily with that program. If your MP3 files still turn out over 3Mb at 128 Kb/sec, then you can actually go as low as 64 Kb/sec to get a small enough file size without a disasterous loss in sound quality. 64 Kb/Sec is still classified as FM Radio quality. ~ Don |
