Well, about 1 month ago, the brother of a very close family friend died from liver deaise.  Two days after that, another family freind died (heart attache).  About 2 weeks after that, the wife and I had a misscarriage.  Yesterday we buried a very bright, happy, beautiful, 27 year old family friend died, she was T-boned in the car by a drunk driver.  Inncediently she was the daughter-in-law of the guy who lost his brother to liver deaises.  She left behind her husband and a 3 yo son.  Now today my wife found out that her cousin (29 yo) committed suicide.  ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!!

Now my advice.....

Everyone hold on to what you have.  Consider yourself lucky to be alive, even if you are down and out, there is always something/someone.   Cherish your feindship/relationships, becasue we never know when someone can be taken away.  If you find your self saying  "we should get toghter", do it, becasue tommorow may be to late.

LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST!!!!!!!  It could end sooner than you think.

That's horrible.  I thought it was bad a few months ago when I found out first that the sister of a high-school classmate was murdered by her boyfriend the same week that a distant relative of mine (by marriage) was killed by a bull on his farm.  Compared to your situation I hardly know those people.

Interestingly, the sister of the high-school classmate was nearly nine months pregnant at the time of her death, and though her brain was dead they kept her body alive long enough that the baby was born alive and survived.  She also donated three organs, probably saving the lives of three other people.  With stories like these you have to look for good news wherever you can find it.

That's an incredible sequence of events in such a short time. I'm so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you in this time of sorrow.

I too have been dealing with similar issues recently. My father passed away on 3rd of April at 85 and if that wasn't enough my best friend of 15 years was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and was given 6mo to a year to live.

Fortunately I was able to spend quality time with Dad in the past few years as his health began to fail him and for that I am grateful. He was doing just fine and then all of a sudden he left us in a fleeting moment. Dad was a professional baseball player for 20 years....and of all days to pass....you guessed it .....Opening Day of Major League Baseball. Guess they needed him upstairs to fill out their roster!

I also feel fortunate that my good friend and I have some time left before he passes as well. You can bet I will spend as much time as I possibly can with him before he leaves us.

You are right you about tomorrow could be too late!  Invest the time with your loved ones now!!

Take care and find comfort in those close to you in this time of need.

I'm so sorry for all your losses. My heart goes out to all the families involved.
Life is strange sometimes what it gives and takes away from us unexpectedly.
It doesn't seem fair at times. Why do some people win the lottery and others face tradgedy after tradgedy. They say god only gives us what can handle. I just wish god didn't trust me so much.
