The relationships and bonds I have developed with some folks on this forum compel me to address my recent posts and attitude. In my wide travels I have been in the meanest bars and tore some up, but the next day went in apologized and made amends. This is the ways of an old fashioned Gentleman. My latest posts were partially from barley corn but mostly from frustration from what’s going on in the world situation and what is going on in our situation. I can understand the frustrations here about those that obtain their music illegally but jumping on a little lady in New Zealand or any newbie about copyright laws does absolutely nothing to resolve the situation. It offends me as a spiritualist ( Judge not lest the be judged), it offends me as one who grew up in the times when during happy hour there were pickups in the parking lot with 30-30 rifles in the back window and thousands of dollars in tools laying in the back which nobody bothered or even thought of stealing for there was an honor even with thieves. Never steal a man’s tools and the thought of walking into a place and questioning a working man about the integrity of his tools would be almost fatal. So the posts that accuse and judge before the intent is even known and tout federal laws which don’t even pertain to the newbies questions is totally uncalled for. If I wanted a legal forum for copyright laws I would google for one. A forum is not the place for legal advice yet posts in the tech forum are sabotaged by legal beagles. If you want to make a legal statement then post it in the general forum. Make sense? Now back to my original intent and with respect for those that support my ramblings If I have insulted, shown intolerance for, jumped on with no provocation, insulted or offended anybody then as a man and Gentleman I sincerely say I am sorry. This is not a political, psychological, hidden post with certain motives it is real from an old man don’t call me a liar or thieve or even hint about it I will come un-glued and question your motive for doing so.( I do have a real life and other than a few posts don’t make any major decisions about business or philosophy) Regards, Ollie Cabaret Karaoke |

I don't see any need for an apology. You have the right to say what you want to say and all was within the forum rule. |

I seriously doubt you are going to find a forum that totaly agrees with copyrights - especially when there is no one in the karaoke world seriously looking for violators - even though we all wish there was! |
