What would you do if you didn't have to work today? I'd sit on my royal butt and do nothing!! Watch tv, eat and talk to my friends here. |

Oh my gosh...... do you people work? hahahahaha Trust me, I quit my job in mid January (for dang good reason)....... and, as much as I like being here, it's no fun at all to be turning into a big couch potatoe. This place is much too addicting. I even tried to leave here once, and delete my membership (again... for VERY good reason).... (you all recall the "had to edit" phase?? haha). But I missed it too much, after like- 3 friggen days. :no: How sad. So here I sit, day after day....... broke & wishing........ be thankful you have a dang job to get up and go to. It's tough finding a good one in this little cowtown. I'ts fun "sitting here on my royal butt and doing nothing"...... but it gets old too. Well, maybe I haven't been as lazy as all that....... for I have done lots of yard work. My front yard looks pretty awesome, I live on a Rhodie farm, and my landlord told me to help myself to the pots of rhodies & azaleas. :dancin: And I started preparing my garden last week. This weather is pretty awesome, isn't it? I love it when I can spend the day outside getting dirty in the flower beds. (weeding, people, weeding........) hahaha |

Lol.. I'm where Charmin is... instead of relishing in a day off today, I'm hoping I get to find work today!! I hate not working, but I'm not going back to the fast food thing or even the little coffee houses... that sucked. |

If I didn't have to work today, I'd crawl back in bed and sleep. I slept like a ROCK last night, and now my brain is still there!! after i woke up, I'd go sit out on my balcony in the sun and paint my toenails or something..... then watch some TV.... play on the 'puter.... then cook supper with Oprah keeping me company till the hubby comes home. |

if have hit the you mean didn't have ot work today as in had the day off, i'd have hit the golf course if you mean didn't have to work at all i'd join the BASS tour |

Well I tried doing what I said I was doing and ended up planting flowers all day. 2 trips to Home Depot. I filled 4 flower pots, put flowers around the mailbox and porch, and filled my flower garden in the backyard. Then it got cold and the news said it may frost. Crap! So I went out and covered all my flowers. That took longer than planting them. I don't know what is wrong with me that I can't just sit still. I have today off too. Let's see if I can stay idle. Geeze.............. |

A day off?...Feed the horses and shovel poop...Wait, I do that every day already..... For fun?....Go fishing! So far today I can't tear myself away from Yahoo Finance pages...My international fund and the small caps are really doing well. |

So far today I've sat at the computer, posted on KS and sent some birthday e-cards. I use www.birthdayalarms.com. It reminds me when peoples birthdays are. Pretty cool. |

Is that a good thing or a bad thing? It is odd when I'm working all the time I can't wait for a break, but as soon as I get some time off, I'm thinking what can I do to keep myself busy. |

If I had the day off the wife and I would drive to the beach and stick our toes in the sand, go through all the shops, have a nice dinner and drive back home. The weather is going to be beautiful here in Portland for the rest of the week. I think the forecast is 79 for tomorrow and perhaps higher on Saturday.

oh man, Flipper! I Like your idea better!! I'd kill to feel the sand in my toes right about now....... go eat at a REALLY good seafood restaurant..... spend some money in a little shop... UHGH! I hate work... ....but not to worry!! On Friday I'll win the 30 million dollar lottery, doncha know? THen I'll take you ALL to the beach! haha! |

Since I did not work from Sept 05 until last week. I am very happy to be back at work....That's why I haven't been around much lately.... But I do miss hanging out with all of you during the day..... |
