I am considering purchasing either a dual wireless mic system or maybe two single systems for myself and my fiance(co-host). These need to have good vocal quality reproduction, as we are both singers, and perform during our shows... I am not an audiophile, so I do not require some top of the line stuff. I just want something that sounds and performs well and reliably. They do not have to be bullet-proof durable casings or anything either, because they will not be handed out to drunks... Just for the two of us. I am looking for the best bang for the buck... I like some of the ones with the rechargable base, but I didn't recognize any of the brands. I am open to suggestions...pros and cons...etc. Thanks in advance. :-) |

Get 2 different mikes and recievers. Get two channel recievers with programmable mike frequencies. |

depends on your budget. I personally like the AS-990 wireless dual mics. They have them at karaoke.com. Affordable, yet dependable enough. Never had an issue with them yet! |

I use the RSQ UHF twin mics. The mics work great, heavy duty and reliable. For the price they are a good deal. However, the sound is good, not great. They are not super warm and sound a bit "digital". The range is great, and I have never had any interference problems. Best Regards, Bob |

Sennheiser G2 Systems are fantastic. Shure anything UHF is my second choice. |

I just purchased a new dual wireless mic setup and took Knightshows advice on the AS990 Audiostream for $179 on sale. I think the quality of these mics from a sound standpoint are very good! They appear to be very durable although time will prove or disprove that. I'm very pleased with the unit so far. |

I bought the RSQ dual UHF unit last summer (acekaraoke.com for about $225 at the time) and am very pleased with it. |

I just purchased dual wireless mics on ebay for $1.00. They are on ebay every day it seems. Still in the box. The sound is not the best but not too bad. The shipping is $25.00 but still a fantastic deal. I figured I would try them and if I didn't like em I would give them to a friend with a home karaoke setup but they really are not that bad. |

the reason they sell them so cheaply is the money SOLD is what the fees can be assoated with. a percentile. Money for shipping and handling isn't calculated on the fees. I've gotten a set of the $20 mics. To be honest, they're fine for announcing. In fact, Tigrr used the one I gave him at a special function when some rappers came to town (I THINK it was 2LiveCrew), and they needed a set for an emergency. Said they LIKED them and that they worked fine! |

Believe it or not VocoPro actually makes a decent set of mics! I've been using their UHF 5800 system 5 nights a week for over a year now and I love them. I was skeptical at first when a fellow KJ recommended them, but they have been wonderful! It's 4 UHF mics in a single space rackmount configuration. Each has its own frequency so all 4 can be going at once. If there ever would be a problem, each mic channel has its own field-replaceable module that easily slides out, without the need for tools and without affecting the functionality of the other channels. The mics use AA batteries which last for about 10-12 hours of constant use, and they are very durable. Mine have been dropped several times with no negative effects. I'd put these up against my Shure SM58 wireless mic any day of the week. |

It's all your choice, depending on your budget. I still appreciate my Nady's UHF-4/HT UHF. So I paid $99 each, but they last and have great sound. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ ... sku=277096 |
