What song or songs do you wish you could drop from your list, but you keep because your friends and fans like it/them? |

Ring of Fire - I don't know why this song irritates, but it does. It sounds like a hemoroid comercial. Pride and Joy - It is a great song, but I'm tired of hearing it. Most of the normal dreaded karaoke songs I don't have to listen to very often anymore. Like: Paradise by the dash board lights and I got you babe. I think my patrons are sick of them too. I usually don't let people sing American Pie. I just ask that they sing a different song because that one is so long. I have to many singers to let a 15 min. song be sang. |

"Here for the party" is one... I think I outsang it for myself but my family still loves it. "First cut is the deepest" - My bf always asks me to sing it and I just don't think it's a "bar" song.. it's kinda depressing for me... I'm more of a mood singer, I can sing a lot of songs, but I go through periods where the pendulum swings back and forth from new songs back to my old songs. I try not sing the new songs too much, though I do think I'm probably wearing "Rhapsody" and "Hotel California" out! |

I think I know what I'm going to sub this week though...and NOW I KNOW which one to pull to get it in there!! |

While I don't have any regular songs (all my repeats usually get even performance time LOL ) my friend has one... At this one Karaoke bar he is always asked to sing Wonderboy. And of course when he does, the KJ runs into the kitchen, grabs two aprons to use as capes, and they act it out up on stage and it always gets a huge response. But it has come to the point where everytime he comes in people want him to do that song, and he is really tired of it. So much in fact he wants to limit how many times we go to that place and go to other places more often. I of course have no problem with him wanting to limit this song...because I hate following him with it |

"The Teddy Bear Song" by Barbara Fairchild. I've been singing it for almost 10 years. I only sing it by request and most of the people who remember that I do that song don't come in much so I get to avoid it alot lately. And, it is a very depressing song. |
