I'm serious, it actually stinks....
He battered up some alligator filets and dropped them in the Fry Daddy...and they are stinking badly.
He can have them all to himself, I don't want any.
At least there is plenty of tater salad, coleslaw and baked beans to go around....and mom sent some left over butter beans and cooked cabbage, so I'll have plenty to eat without the alligator.
Robbie is mad at me cause I told him it stinks...he's acting all flustered like a woman would whenever you dis her cooking....I don't care if it does hurt his feelings, the crap stinks...Now my house stinks too....next time he cooks something like that, he is going to do it outside.

Smoked alligator meat will tease good. You should try that. Use some good wood that give good smoke. better than smoke salmon when done properly.
No I don't eat wild meat, but if you have to do it do it with some style.

Was Alligator ever endangered ? I recall for awhile shoes, handbags etc were extremely expensive. Is it that it's just a difficult hyde to work with ? or were they protected at one point in time due to concern's of extinction ? or isn't it even called a "hyde" on a reptile ? I dunno.... I'm a yankee, heck.... I can tell you about house finches, yet those big things, NAH

I like gator when cooked right. I used to get it at Gators in Florida when I lived there.

There's a couple places I know of around here that serve gator too. It's kinda yummy, IMHO

I believe it was endangered at one time - until enough people figured out how much money you could make off of them. The best way to protect an endangered species is to find a way to profit from it. When man finds a way to make money off of a certain species, you can bet he will find a way to make sure that species is plentiful.
Some people are up-in-arms about logging, but there are more trees in the United States now, than there were when the pilgrims landed here. Why? Because it's profitable.

An another STUPID statement. YOUR Wildlife and Fishery Dept. have just the opposite thinking.

Again, you call me stupid, just because I disagree with you! At least in the bird flu thread you had some sources to back up your opinion. Those sources supported me more than you, but at least you tried. Where are your sources from MY Wildlife and Fishery Dept, claiming that making a profit off of something DOESN'T improve it's chances of survival? (And when did it become MY Wildlife and Fishery Dept. I don't remember anyone giving it to me! )

Keith you need to get your wife in order
I've been teasing my fiance all weekend that I finally found the wife I've
been looking for. We had family over for Easter and he helped clean and cook.
I work so much I don't have time to do a lot of domestic things.
It is odd how it seems like the world is changing. More and more woman working and
men doing the cooking and cleaning. I swear men make better cooks anyway.

You think smoked croc smells bad, you should try Durian? (fruit thingie, can't spell worth damn today), as I am sure Badsinger can attest to. It's one of the worst odors I have experiences, other than the old Chinese delicacy, Stinky Tofu.

There's a barbeque stand about half a block from me that sells an alligator sandwich and french fries for $5.89. I would've thought it would be more expenseve then beef or pork, but it's not. Now I'm wanting to try it. What does gator taste like?
