Hi guys, i've been trying to do a little recording  on my pc lately and my recordings are not very clear, and sound muffled. My desktop pc only has a stock soundmax sound card.

Would this solve my problems...........

that and probably a good mic.

It all depends on why you are getting a muffeled sound.

Thanks for responding so quickly :)
I noticed that particular brand had xlr mic hookups so now i can use the good mic, if i were to purchase it, instead of the one with 1/8 input, that i'm using now.
