Here is that big a$$ed App....He's all brushed out and feeling frisky...He's been eating good all winter....Now he is back on grass so he's very happy.....Me n Robbie are gonna toss a saddle on him in a few minutes and see if we can stay on....He needs finished broke this month so we can start trail rides soon....I ain't never seen an uglier horse than this one, but he has a fine conformation and personallity....The guy can run like a racehorse!

Here he was 6 months ago...he's filled out more now and got more muscle...He is a huge horse...Robbie is a very large guy, so you can compare the two of them....His name was Easy...We just changed it to "Big Easy" :D  That's fitting for a Louisiana horse, huh?

I'm thinking I need to sell the blue-eyed Walker Pony...

He eats out of my hand and sticks his head in the halter and leads real easy, but he goes crazy if I ease a saddle on his back.........He goes SO nuts that he will hurt himself if I allow it....I ain't never seen a horse so spooky of a saddle....He will take a blanket with no problem, but that saddle sends him over the fence....I can lay the saddle on the ground and he will eat grass under it-nudging it with his nose....He will step over it...he ain't afraid of it till I put it on his back....I just had him haltered and tied to a big hickory tree..He broke the halter when I eased the saddle on his back, then bucked it off and came back up to me stepping over the saddle to do it...Go figure.

This guy will hook up with me as soon as I go outside and let me halter him and put a blanket on his back, hell I can drape a blanket over his head and he will just stand there, but as soon as I sit a saddle on him he goes dangerously crazy.....

He's my campfire buddy.....rests his head on my shoulder and nuzzles me and will let me touch/brush/pat him anywhere, eats apple slices out of my shirt pockets,  but he goes totally nuts once he gets a saddle on his back......His back ain't injured or in pain...I can scrub/rub him hard all over his back, so it ain't that...He lets me pick up his feet and clip his hooves with no problem...I can't figure this guy out....Man, I really hate to pawn him off, but I can't keep a horse I can't ride or train to ride.

...Any ideas?

I'm going to try setting a 50 lb bag of feed on his back tomorrow and see what he does....The whole last hour he was resting his head on my shoulder as I surfed on the laptop on the back porch.....Now I got to go shovel off the back porch. LMAO

I can't justify a horse that can't be tamed....There are better places for him than here...lots of folks would be glad to have him as a pasture orniment/backyard buddy/petting zoo type critter.....He won't go to the dungeons or be abused.

Hon, it ain't cheap or easy keeping horses...They eat lots of feed and hay, they need routine vet and ferrier care, and they are a huge liability if they hurt someone...you got to be realistic when it comes to horses....I got three others here who ain't no problem or risk to themselves or anyone else...If the pony was in a different place then he wouldn't be a problem....If I can find a RIGHT place for him, then I think i'll give him away.....He needs to be in a petting zoo environ with a family who either has just him or many....If they have many, then he will make a great pasture companion for the horses that can be ridden....If he is alone and kept as a yard pet, then he will get plenty of attention and never be expected to saddle up....either way, I ain't going to let anything bad happen to him.

He sounds like an over grown puppy. Someone just sent me the funniest horse
clip- I'm trying to figure out how I can post it. Some lady was showing how docile her horse was by walking under him from front to back in a crouch. She was coming out from between his back legs and he pooped on her head. Really funny - I'm sick I know.
