An underrated American singing legend passed away today at the age of 65, peacefully in Wales, Gene Pitney.. His hits from the early 60's included: Only Love Can Break a Heart, It Hurts to Be in Love, Town Without Pity, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, among them.. He wrote the song Hello Mary Lou, made famous by Ricky Nelson and He's a Rebel by the Crystals...He had an original, magnificent voice..

He wrote and sang some good songs! He did have a unique voice. He will be missed along with all the other great ones.

See Don, This is what I was saying to you.. Of course this beats going thru pain. Yet it also makes me think twice before going to sleep... Control issue I suppose, yet I don't wanna go !! I'm not ready !! This type thing sort've freaks me out...Seemingly healthy one moment... no longer in the world the next :?
