Post subject:  Nashville 4/3-4/5
Going on a last minute business trip, staying by the Airport Monday & Tuesday night. Are there any good shows in a reasonable distance from that area on those days?

Really wish I could say I live there, haha, but no dice...... I'm on the opposite side of the planet. And I haven't even BEEN to Nahville since Christmas '96. But, if I were there.... I'm sure I wouldn't have a problem tying up a couple days, lots of stuff to do there. Just the various museums are cool. (you can go tour the "original" home of Hank Sr... lol... I did)

Opry should have something, the Ryman used to be just friday & saturday shows... not sure how they do it now.

Maybe, since I don't appear to KNOW anything, I'll just let someone else come answer you who lives there.  LOL  (I know a few of the forum members do)

I envy you though, I'm dying for my next trip out there. Have fun.  :wave:

I was in Nashville last year and did try to look for a Karaoke place since I was there for a day. However, I didn't find any. That doesn't mean there isn't one, just a lot of places were hosting live music, every other bar in the area had live music 7 days a week. Well, it is music capitol of the world, supposedly.

I would like to know as well for my next visit, so if someone who's local can chime in, that would be great.

Have you looked at the club directory on this site.  There are a couple of places listed.  A lot of times if you call the number and find out who does the show, they will have other shows in other locales.  One of the places should be able to help you.

Unfortunately, there were only a few places listed on this site, and they were for the wrong nights...

I know it's been a while since I've been here, but I KNOW there are some Nashville area people on here....

Brian, where are ya when I need ya? lol

So far I found an American Legion on Monday, and a bar on Tues not too far from the airport.

Unfortunately, the business meeting will keep me busy all day, and I just have nights free...
