Last night at the bar they recorded the karaoke singers. It went off well. The cds they are making from the recordings are going to be given away to the singers at no charge. Besides dealing with a huge drunk crowd it went off without a hitch. So far all my worries were for nothing. :hi5: I'm really glad it's over. |

I hope I'm not boring you guys with this thread. I heard a couple of tracks that this guy edited already. I can't beleive how good it sounds. Remember he used mics on the speakers. Now I'm no expert in audio, but I never thought they'd come out this well by not going through my system directly. And how the heck did he not get feed back with mics placed directly in front of the speakers. Wild. |

We mic'd an entire drum set with one high dollar condensor mic & no one could tell the entire kit wasn't mic'd up. No feedback is because his mics weren't actually going through your PA, they were just picking up the signal & going directly into their recording set. You get feedback when a mic on a pa is pointing at a speaker (or picks up the speaker output) & feeds it back through the PA amplifying the signals it hears each time through an endless loop until the loop is broken. |
