What are your comments on the RSQ NEO+G C320 players? Haven't really heard much about these or seen any pros/cons on this player |

the NEO format is proprietary for the RSQ... and them only. It's like the CAVS in that it's it's own DVD type of demon. Audio compression like the mp3+g... For me, I don't like the multiple types... I have a RSQ505 (early model) that is a DVD, CD+G, VCD, etc... and it works... I never wanted to go that far beyond what it's capable of in other machines... the more you mess with the plumbing, the easier it is to stop it all up! |

good point. i'm kinda leary of buying a used older unit though when i can get this one at a cheaper price with a warranty. i haven't heard any comments much on this unit , but as long as it plays cdg's it should do fine. i talked to a salesman at one of the internet stores and he was trying to get me to buy the rjtech 4200 unit instead of this one. i figured they were overstocked on the rjtech, plus i've heard negatives on that model. i'd rather stick with a brand such as rsq. |

no problem... but please, just don't come complaining when it disappoints you. I've been in this business a LONG time... and listened to those that offered advice before... when I made my purchases. I've been using the JVC triple tray (gold unit) for nearly five years. Only had one fail, and that was a mobile unit. It just needs a video adjustment... there's a screw that turns it. After two months of owning one, I liked it so much, I bought another one... five years without a warrenty. The single trays work, and work well... especially for your needs. |

Home users need options too. We can't afford the fancy machines that the pros use! |

depends on how seriously you want your hobby to be for a home user. do you want a stand alone unit that has a cassette player/recprder built into it, mic connections, etc? around $75 you want a dvd type of player that will promise to do all sorts of stuff? FINE, but the ones that are being mentioned on here just don't seem to add up for longevity. If you want any kind of guarantees, you go with a machine that's tried and true. Something that has withstood the test of time. If someone wants to beta-test the various machines, great, but don't come a complainin'! ! That's what you GET when you beta test. The single trays, and triple trays too for that matter, are used ALL the time for some folks' home settups! |

I initially was going with a CAVS SCDG player but after finding out their tech support stinks, I'm going with a laptop that I already have. I'd really hate to use a player that uses CDG only or the ones that do MP3+G cost too much and/or a brand that I wouldn't buy. After finding out about SCDG it would kill me to have to keep switching discs. Why doesn't RSQ, Audio2000, etc. come out with a player that uses MP3+G? I also emailed RSQ a while back and asked if they were going to come out with a program that converts CDG to NEO+G. CAVS came out with a program that converts from CDG to SCDG, so why not RSQ? I actually have seen one brand, Megabox that uses MP3+G but the player costs over $500. |

Hey Josh, ACEKaraoke has a link for a RSQ222. (They offer free shipping). http://www.acekaraoke.com/hrsqpls222.html Maybe this is an old link because this product has been discontinued. Here is a link for the RSQ333 This is probably another oudated link. http://www.acekaraoke.com/hrsqpls333.html This is out of stock also. You could always email them. |

Josh, On my way home from work I stopped by Dirt Cheep Music to check out their speakers. http://dirtcheepmusic.com/ They had a Kustom PA system for $299. Specs were: 10" speakers 4 channels 100 watts 5 band eq Of course I've seen better deals online! |
