OK...so, I think I'm actually gonna have to start playing trivia WITHOUT drinking for a while... ...I just signed up for a Jeopardy! audition pre-screen test...gonna try it again... ...see if I can't give that Ken Jennings guy a run for his money!! 
Anybody want to help me fill my brain up? |

Is THAT where the headache just started coming from? LOL Downside of this though...if I pass the pre-screen, the closest full audition is in St. Louis!!!! Good thing Southwest and American both have the el-cheapo airfares going up there now!!!

I love crosswords - I do them everyday - bring it on Have you seen the new reality show where they lock a bunch of people in a room and don't let them out until they decide which person gets a million dollars? They have to decide between themselves who deserves it the most. |

Personally, I think that's a pretty jacked-up (I'm a former Sailor...you KNOW I want to use a more colorful metaphor :yes: ) concept for a game/reality show. As far as crosswords...I was a walking reference book by a guy at my last duty station that did BOTH crosswords in the Ft. Worth paper EVERY morning... But--even when Sharon's out-guessing me on the ones neither one of us KNOW...otherwise useless trivia is my game... I'm SUCH a geek!!  :bigcry: :giveup: :dunce:

Wow, Dave, you really ARE a geek. Both kinds of geek. LOL I could never do Jeopardy..... I am usually only good in one or two categories they have up there, and the rest I'm sitting there going "What?!?!" Now Family Fued.... I would SO be good on that game. What Dave is leaving out here is that when "Who wants to be a millionare" was prime time and hosted by Regis DAVE was on that show...He won 250K..... Besides him being a geek on the program, he was pretty cute in his Navy uniform.... Dave has an amazing knowledge base..... |

I used to love that show..... but it killed me sometimes how people would be on their 2nd or 3rd question and want to "phone a friend".... or "ask the audience". you know, einstein was a genius too...however, he never got trashed and slept on his friend's couch and einstein never learned to tie his shoes or remember his address...he didn't want to waste brain space.... speaking of space if you stand next to dave and the wind blows you can hear the ocean!!!!!
