Bad ground in the cable system and/or the outlets everything are plugged into, not your player (as a rule).
There are a couple things you can try just to bandage it up until you can find the problem, simplest, yet also most dangerous, lift the ground on the system via a 3 prong to 2 prong adapter.  Doing this is dangerous however because the system is no longer properly grounded for electrical shock.
2nd fix it is a ground loop isolator available from Rat Shack - hooks inline from the mixer audio out to the amps (doesn't always work the greatest, but sometimes is just what is needed).
3rd and safest is a real ground loop bypass (hum eliminator) which lifts the ground without actually breaking the ground circuit available from ebtech.  http://www.zzounds.com/prodsearch?form=prodsearch&q=ebtech

Lonnie has the answers--I'm just curious did this just start to happen?
Are you playing at a new gig ?  Did you do something new and or differant?

Your answers might prevent future situations for others

i'm a totally mobile karaoke show...so every gig is new...i've always had a HUMM, even with my old system(amp and player)..most of the time i can compensate for it but now i'm wanting that quality sound without worrying about the humm...i'm going to radio shack today for the ground loop isolator...i had a feeling it was opposing grounds..i just needed someone to confirm it...i'll post again after i try the device..give everyone a thumbs up or down..

Try what Lonman  suggested and also make sure that a  Cable TV line is not connected to the TV that you are using.

I have the Same problem but only when I hook up my Rsq to my Plasma in the bedroom. I got a HumX for it and all is fine now :)

The biggest problem some of us faced with ground loop noise issues are because of the bars cable TV coax feed.  While that's likely the issue regarding the injected noise, there are also other interference probs.. such as interference from dimmers, RF radiation, miswiring etc..

Since you are using a house TV as your monitor, the source is likely the incoming cable signal at the wall plate, or coax going to that particular set. It's a different ground.

Does the sound system sound ok until you hook up the coax to the bar tv?

I had a the same problem at a bar and it was actually a simple fix.  Check to see if the plug you are using is on the same loop as a lot of the other plugs.  If the recepticals are not wired correctly and on a continuous loop to the same breaker, that could be your problem.  Interference from the signs and everything else was my problem, plugged into a different outlet and bam.. it was fixed.
