Hi, I'm pretty new, and don't post much, but I'm curious. I know it is suggested that one should wait at least a week before subbing a song, that has already been subbed. I was wondering, what some individual opinions are on this subject. I personally wouldn't care if someone subbed right over the top of mine. From my observations, your sub receives about 95% of it's viewings within the first 8 to 24 hours, and after that, if somebody listens to it, they are usually on a mission. Though I think the weeks wait is very fair, even though in my case, feel free to sub anything I sub anytime, I was wondering if there are Singers who would like more time than that. Sometimes, when there is a theme, several Singers might record same popular songs, only to find they have already been recently subbed. You don't want your work to be wasted, so you set on them for awhile, not wanting to offend anyone, but yet, not knowing what a particular individual thinks about the suggested week wait. It is just a suggestion(weeks wait).....Can I get a witness????.....jj

The understanding is that the song you want to sub is no more on the front page. The problem is when 2 people sub the same song at about the same time. But that is unintentional.

I don't see the problem with it, although it is a courteous gesture to not sub the same as another.
Both singers will sound different singing the song and some might not mind hearing both versions at once.
The real problem is when 2 singers have almost the same exact taste in music and keep subbing the same songs as one another, or want to. That's weird. :newlol:
I noticed that here once, but it's not a problem for me because I'm not really set up yet to make any decent subs.
I'd say if your intentions are purely coincidental, carry on...carry on.

My opinion is to wait till the song you want to sub is off the main page.

Hi Melly, these are the kinda input I was looking for......I personally will wait a week or more......but I wouldn't care if someone subbed the same one right on top of mine......I wonder how many people would like to see a longer period of time......by the way, do you sub on SS, I just subbed Rocky Mountain High, and I see you're from Colorado....lol.....you're welcome to sub that one right over mine, seeing your state has preference on that song....lol.......nice to meet you.......jj
