Ok, so I made a few changes...

All enclosed in a SKB Gig Rig (rolling with handles and angled top for mixer)

Primary Player - Dell Laptop running Winamp w/ Plug in. (may upgrade to?)
Secondary - RSQ NEO-E500 NEO-G / DVD / VCD / CDG / Karaoke Player
Mixer - Yamaha MG16FX/6 Mixer with effects
Amp - Behringer EP2500 Power Amp
Compressor - DBX 266 XL Compressor Gate
Rack light - Furman RP8D Power Conditioner w/ Voltage Meter
Rack light - Furman Dual Goose Neck mixer light

Speakers: JBL MP215 MPro PA Speaker Cabinet (15 Inch) X 2

Subs: Behringer E1800X Eurolive PA Subwoofer (18 Inch, 800 Watts) X 2

Monitor: Behringer B300 Ultrawave Powered Speaker (15 Inch, 300 Watts)

Mics : Samson R21 Microphone 3-Pack with Case X 2 sets

- On Stage DS7200B Adjustable Desk Microphone Stand
- On Stage MC7201B Round Base Microphone Stand x 3

- Will be using a flat panel computer monitor for lyrics (15 or 17 inch)

- Library of about 13,000 Karaoke songs including about 40% soundchoice, 20% "Monthly hits" series...

Still need to invest in dual wireless mics for myself and my fiance/co-host...
May also pick up another amp to power just the subs...

I realize I didn't go "top of the line" but I think I have a pretty good rig compared to most in my area.

I personally would have passed on all the Behringer stuff, but you live & learn....rest of it looks pretty good.  Yes 2nd power amp for subs and external crossover would be recommened.  Be careful, the amp with all speakers hooked will be pushing at the 4 ohm output of 750 watts per channel.  The sub is only rate at 200 watts continuous, 400 watts RMS - the 800 watts is a peak rating (8 ohm ratings).  The MP215 are rated 250 continuous, 500 RMS & 1000 peak (8 ohm ratings).    The continuous rating on both will raise when connected in parallel, but it's will be close.

Did you already have all the music on cdg that you transferred to hard drive?

Thanks for the info.  Don't have the songs transferred yet.   Gonna take me a while, and I am still having problems with the plextor drive for some reason.

Have you tried a firmware upgrade of the plextor....had some problems with mine at first (going WAY too slow) then did a firmware upgrade, and all was fine!

First...sounds like a great setup, even with the behringer products.  I have been using ALL behringer PA equipment for 2 years, and have NEVER had a problem.

AS far as the case, how are you planning to mounbt the Flat Pannel?  I am either going to make my case soon, or buy one (prefer to buy), but I can not finde a sloped topped case that will allow me to mount the flatpannel.

All of the ones I have seen have removable lids, I want one hinged, so I can mount the flant pannle screen to the inside of the lid, but thus far I have found nothing I like, unless I build myself.

Oh yeah....I would also recomend getting a tv/mic stand setup....looks way better, and easire then setting up the lyrics screen on a table (which a lot of KJs seem to do).  Somehting liek this.... http://acekaraoke.com/audio-2000-ast420 ... stand.html

I removed the wheels from mine, and they also make TRIPOOD based ones too.
