I noticed a Kj using a wireless system on his JBL eon g2's and was wondering if anyone does this or knows something about this. It seems like a great idea to eliminate the need for cables. Where would you purchase something like this?  :D

I suggested this very concept to Peavey several years ago...They said then it was impossible and could not be done....

"Yeah right", I said to myself.

Glad to hear it is being done....Now i gotta go check it out.

Thanks for the heads up.

Think 'wireless mic' and it can be done. A tranmitter from the mixer and a receiver at the other end for the speaker.

I guess conceivably a solution involving this kind of device would be possible

I have run wireless audio and video to the staqe .  Was considering doing the same to the eons.. Dont bother get one of these

I changed 5/6 to female on the mixer end and the jacks in the box to males. (sends audio to the eons)

On 7 converted the mixer end to 1/4", mounted a 1'4" jack in the box par with the 7 xlr jack (this sends audio to the stage monitor)

Put an rca on 8 and made a xlr to rca converter.   (8 runs video to the stage monitor. )

Also made a video da and rf modulator that I can split video out of the comp or out off the snake box to the monitor and big screen..

The snake is hard to roll and unroll but using the over under wrapping tecnique solves this...Protect the mixer end connectors and never put stress (cable too short) on either end of the cable..
