Well, I guess I'll start with my name and just ramble from there on. My name is Jason, I'm 23, I live in Orlando and have my own karaoke business hosting at local bars as well as weddings, private parties and other occasions. As I'm sure pretty much everyone else on this site does, I love music, it's passion that I don't think words can even explain. I've been singing since I was 2, and I've loved music for as long as I can remember. Through middle school and high school I was in band (yes a band geek), where I played Alto Sax and Percussion. Moved to FL from OH when I was in 8th grade and it was the best move I ever made. After high school I got hooked up with a band I sang with for about a year and a half and in that time I played Hard Rock Live in Orlando three times as well as opening for national acts; I'll Nino, Flaw, 40 Below Summer (Hard Rock Bands) at House of Blues. Had a great time with the band and it was sad that it had to end. Now I have my own karaoke business KJayKaraoke and I host weddings and all that fun stuff, but most of the time you can find me at Frank's Place in Hunter's Creek (formerly Frogger's) where I host karaoke every Saturday night at 9:00. Check out my website if you need more information. http://www.kjaykaraoke.com During the day, my boring day job is as a Network Administrator as I have my BS in Information Systems Technology from the University of Central Florida, and that's all I'm giong to say about that so I don't sound like too much of a dork. I'm glad I have the degree though, it helped me in a lot of ways including learning how to build websites so I didn't have to depend on anyone else to build mine!!!! Yep, you sound like one of us!! :D Welcome to the forums Jason, hope to hear you singing as well over in the showcase. Lots of nice people here who will help you out with any questions/concerns you might have. And there's tons of threads on equipment & recording and all that. Again, welcome. :wave: Always good to see a new face. (uh....name, I mean, since I don't see a face yet) :) |

It's the singers showcase You can find the link on the left of the page...It's where you go to submit your songs that you sing and to listen to others here sing |

Oh, I didn't see your question...... but looks like Sharon answered it for you. On the far left of the page, where it says "Singers Showcase".... that's where we all post songs. It's alot of fun if you like to sing & hear others. :) And I get the feeling I just repeated Sharon, haha. |

Hi Jason, It will be a good idea if you link your website thru your Profile setting. Redo your Profile to include it so that all your post will have your WWW link. Just a suggestion. And WELCOME to KS. |
