I'm a little baffled. I swear there are some missing topics. Did some get cut? My topic about my tv monitor getting broken and what to do, is gone. |

Yes. I suppose what was going on in that thread bothered a few people. Not because of your content of course, but it disappeared yesterday |

i would have to say the argument going on was what got it pulled. personally i thought it was amusing to see two grown? men go at it like 2nd graders. "no you're a poopy head!" "no you are!" "am not!" "are too!" "i know you are but what am i?" "a poopy head!" "i know you are but what am i?" "why don't you shut up?" "why don't you make me?" "i don't make trash, i burn it!" etc., etc., etc. |

If there was content the monitors didn't like I wish they would have just taken out those individual posts. There was some good information there. Thank you for the concern for my tv monitor. She is feeling better now. I think she'll make it. |

I bent the wheel back. It doesn't roll like it used to, but it still works fine. I just wanted to keep the information on buying a new wheel and how to replace it. I came back to read the post again and of course it was gone. I just skipped over the off topic conversation when it was happening. I couldn't even tell you what they said. That stuff doesn't interest me. Could someone please give me the information on replacing the wheels again. Thank you. :worship: |

yeah, it's all so amusing Crank... when someone else is getting flamed, it's very easy to sit back and say "just ignore it dude", but when it's you that's being flamed both personally and professionally, I would argue it's NOT so easy. When you've spent three years on this site both growing in experience due to the help from great folks like Lonman and others, and helping others with their own tech issues, it's very hard to stay quiet while someone publicly rips into you. |

understood and my nature being what it is, i would not have been able to restrain myself, either (most likely). i just found it funny that the argument regressed to the level that it did. at first, there were valid points being made from both sides. before it was over, it became name calling and juvenile bantering. |

yes, I know... I get that way when hard pressed. What got me was the poke, poke poke routine... trying to get responses. that type of junk I don't need! |

Babs, I started a thread a couple months ago....... not anything I would have thought to get yanked from the board....... I was asking advice on some online companies since I was about to order my new stuff. It lasted I think a DAY and then was zapped. According to my conversation with Phil, the mod who removes it is SUPPOSED to send you a PM or email telling you why it was removed- but I never got one. I guess maybe someone dissed a company or something in there........ But I really never saw anything in it that should have warranted it being removed. (and some of the threads you'd EXPECT to be removed..... are still here) Strange. |

Funny but I never realized how seriously those post were taken.....actually I even read a couple to Joyce....I found some of them amusing....and I have this thing about debate....but after thinking back to some of my own squabbles on other forums, I guess that can kill a place.....people are going to disagree and a degree of sarcasm spices things up..... |

Yeah, I've heard others talk about this same thing- and I'm guilty of it too. You wake up the next morning with a vague recollection of squinting at your comp screen & keyboard........ and you start thinking "Oh, $h1t, what'd I DO......" I got that way once & typed an email to someone, didn't really think about it till they replied and I read it over. Best to just put your comp under lock & key when ya start drinking. (uh, maybe the camera too....) LoL |
