Welcome Back!!! I am new but it is good to see people retuen. My name is Sharon and I am just a singer like you...No equipment or instruments except for my voice....I like it that way..as long as I have me I am able to perform anywhere... |

[font=Comic Sans MS]It's always been a pet peeve of mine that because I don't hold something other than a microphone I'm considered serious about my music......it's been my experience that working bands want you to hold an instrument of some type before they will seriously give you a second look.......I've been told that it has something to do with money and carrying your own weight......but I've always thought that it is the fear of becoming the singer and the band instead of just the band.....my voice is my instrument....I practice....I take it seriously.....thank God for Karaoke or where would I sing but in the shower....[/font] |
