Ok, I got two of these players as my backups as I am using a laptop as my player. I only recently got around to setting them up in my rack, and they are both defective unless I am some how mistaken. I could have sworn that I read here or someplace that there had been a massive recall of these units...?
Anyways, here is the problem...
One of them powers up fine, but won't play any disk. Just gives a "no disk" message.
The other plays the disks, but half way into the initial song (about 2 minutes) the thing STOPS on its own....for no apparent reason.
Any suggestions?
I have had them for more than 30 days, so I don't think I can just return them, so I will have to deal with the warranty crap unless I can find the info about a recall, or there is some other fix to these things.

I own a RSQ MK-22. It gives me problem on CDs. It automatically stops between tracks. It reads most DVDs, and not -R/+R/RW. I haven't played CDG much to say if any problem.
DJFrank, I would assume we purchased them from a same seller on eBay. I think he's selling units that had been repaired.
