I have been trying to figure out how to convert my CDG player's +/- 12% pitch change to simple half-steps. What I have been doing is doubling the percent (example: 3 half-steps up  = +6%) but it's still not right. Is there a formula or some conversion that I can make to have them match? I would really be thankful with any help with this! :)

There is a difference in key change and pitch.

You need a player with key change.
