Post subject:  Need help converting a wave file please
Hey guys or girls  :wave: . I've been fooling around with Audacity again and was able to make a mono recording of another song, but when I went to download the LAME encoder to convert it, it won't work. I'm not sure what to do now, except I do have a new wave file that plays in Media Player.

Will any encoder work? I just need to convert it now. Thanks..........Perry :wave:

Hi Perry,

I use dBpowerAMP to convert wav to mp3. and I get it from this site
http://www.anycities.com/user1/sonofspy/MMedia.html
The above link have tons of other free programs that are FREE and also FREE from spy ware and ad ware.
From homepage goto multimedia and its about 1/2 way down.

Thanks Badsinger. I just realized after I posted this that all I had to do was do a Google search for music converters.........duh. :newlol:
The reason I couldn't remember the name of the one I used before was because I rebooted my computer several times and lost all of my files.
I just finished downloading dbPoweramp a few moments ago. I'll see if it works again.
