Does anyone have or are you familiar with DAM karaoke systems? These are the systems that are used in most Japanese karaoke bars/clubs. I know there is a Disc changer type and an all digital type. I'm looking to buy a used system. I know the new systems are around $9k to $20k depending on what you get.
Dai-ichi Kosho, renowned for their DAM karaoke system... Dai-ichi Kosho is the largest karaoke maker in Japan... it is a MIDI based format... DAM stands for Daiichi Kosho

There are more than karaoke going on in there http://www.ktvphil.com/ktvphil/main.asp. It makes lap dancing a boy scout stuff. Those GROs can be seen in almost every karaoke in town. Many men go to these places not to sing but for some action with those GROs.
