The S112V & S115V are good speakers.  Which to get depends on how you need to use them.  If you are just needing some for home use, the S112V will be fine, if you are doing club work, then the S115V will be a better choice.  Remember basic rule of thumb is to make sure your amp pushes at least the RMS rating (not peak rating).  So for a speaker that handles 400 watts/800 peak - into 8 ohms, your amp should at least push close to the 400 watt range into 8 ohms for maximum efficiency & less chance of blowing the speaker.

I use the Yamaha S115Vs for my main cabs and a Yamaha BR12 for my monitor. I don't think there is a speaker out there under $1000/pair that has the bass responce of the Yamaha S115Vs. I work in about a 6000/sf bar and play to about 80-100 nightly and these babies have sparkling highs, good vocal mids, and bass that vibrates the back windows....

I run the SV115Vs off of a Yamaha P5000S Dual Channel Power Amp, and the Yamaha BR12 off of a separate Samson Servo amp that I bridge just for the monitor.
