Does anyone have or are you familiar with DAM karaoke systems? These are the systems that are used in most Japanese karaoke bars/clubs. I know there is a Disc changer type and an all digital type. I'm looking to buy a used system. I know the new systems are around $9k to $20k depending on what you get. Any info would be great. Thanks. |

DAM systems have been around, in the US, at least 5 to 7 years. And longer in Japan. |

I've been in karaoke biz since 91 & haven't heard of nor seen this system. Can't even find any info on one. |

these have been around for a long time and the reason you don't hear about them much is because of their price tags to set up... There are more than karaoke going on in there http://www.ktvphil.com/ktvphil/main.asp. It makes lap dancing a boy scout stuff. Those GROs can be seen in almost every karaoke in town. Many men go to these places not to sing but for some action with those GROs. |
