I am using audio grabber, and am curious what rate to make mp3+g at? I am pulling them from the original cdg and putting them on my hard drive, and I am not sure where, but someone mentioned have a file that was 6.5 mbs and larger, which would tell me that they are ripped higher than 128. Thanks a ton! |

Go for 192kbps; the sound quality aprox. cd quality |

At LEAST 192 or better. Anything less is audibly noticeable. |

Yup that or even higher BmG just sent me George Straits Somewhere In Texas...Since She Let Herself go is on the charts I'll rip that to a wav file (this does take about 10 times the drive space) Certain karaoke tracks I'll leave the cdg unchecked in Cdrwin and get the wav file. Then I replace the mp3 with the wav.. But...With all the efx and procs turned off there is a huge difference between mp3 and wav ... With them all on I cant hardly notice any difference so I guess the answer is it depends on your system... |

Thank you. This program rips at something like 300 so it should be fine. I just want good sounds! |

No need to go above 192kbps. Anything higher is wasted space on your HDD. |
