Post subject:  Opinions on some of these karaoke disk makers?
Can I get some opinions on some of these karaoke disk makers? Maybe a 1-10 scale rating, 10 being the best...

- Sound Choice
- Monster Hits
- Karaoke Hits
- Top Hits Monthly
- DkKaraoke
- Sweet Georgia Brown
- Chart Busters
- Legends
- Northstar
- NuTech
- Stardisk
- Superstar
- Music Maestro
- Backstage
- Sunfly
- Pocket Songs

Any other ones you can recommend?

Top Hits Monthly 1
  Sound Choice   2
 Chart Busters   3
   Music Maestro  4
Legends            5
Stardisk            6  (They ere the first with new songs)  After that is is a toss up..

You can search the forum and find plenty of discussion on this subject.  Soundchoice is usually good, Chartbuster has great country, THM and PHM are generally fine, and so on.  I also like Priddis and DK (not great, but pretty good through and through).  Many brands have their strenghts and weaknesses.  "You get what you pay for" is often true.  To pick only one brand, I would recommend Soundchoice.

- Karaoke Hits 7
- Legends 7
- Northstar 5
- Music Maestro 5
- Stardisk 5
- Pocket Songs 5
- NuTech 4
- Backstage 4 (although I really like their 70's rock!)
- Sweet Georgia Brown 3

I don't use or remeber the following:
-- DkKaraoke
- Superstar
- Sunfly

I only buy Soundchoice, Top Hits Montly and Pop Hits monthly now. The others are a waste.

Interesting the comparisons... Only Pioneer ones that I feel were bad are their "newer" pop stuff... they DO seem a bit flat, where THM or PHM did a better job.

I know I don't care as much for DKK tracks as compared to the same ones on Pioneer or Sound Choice.

Agree for the most part, but I wouldn't say the others are a complete waste though.  Even though I wouldn't get an entire set of ANY of the others, there are several discs from each that are worthy.  Careful listening & choosing before hand is critical for the other discs however - don't just buy it & think "Cool"!
