Hi Again: I'm male, 53 years young... and am a karaoke addict. I sang in bands in jr & High School, but got a bad case of stage fright and quit singing for 30 yrs. About 5 yrs ago I was introduced to karaoke... Faced my fear and haven't slowed down since. I like (most) music, but recently, my taste has leaned toward the "new" country atrists... I've sang in 8 states, in about 30 towns.. even 6 times in Japan. No matter where I go, it's the same... good people, good music, and fun times. |

Hello! Well, that's just a testimony to the getting back on the horse theory; well done! I'm so happy for you to have conquered the stage fright (with gusto, apparantly!) and come back to singing! Nothing better than karaoke as a fun stress reliever. You're right about what you say about the global karaoke effect. It seems everywhere in the world karaoke is enjoyed by the nicest, friendliest, most outgoing folks...Maybe the UN Summits should start with a little karaoke event...just a thought.
