Many websites offer karaoke download online. Some offer 99 cent per song
Some offer 3.99 per song.
BUt i was wondering, If I go out and buy a cdg from soundchoice, is the quality of the songs in the cdg better than the same soundchoice song sI download online
in the mp3+g format ????(let's say they saved the song in the highest quality in mp3)
Even if I use the mp3+g songs and burn it into cdgs, does it have the same
quality as the orinal cdg I buy directly from soundchoice??

In simple terms -- I would say - They are the same
If you have a high quality Mp3+g and burn to disc using a decent Plextor drive
you won't NOTICE any difference between that and a cdg bought of the same songs..
Now the experts might argue in very technical terms with special equipment there are noticable differences ..But I say NAH (LOL)

do a GOOGLE search on "Download CD+G", and you'll find information. SOme commercial, some rip-off... but do some research!

I personally like soundchoice's quality
so go to www.soundchoice.com
They have a link to walmart, yahoo music, msn music, napster..ect to download karaoke songs in mp3 format without the lyrics.
There are also a few other site let you download Mp3+g directly for 3.99 per song.
but I don't know the quality of the songs.

$3.99 a song that's $60 a CD I'll buy the CD you want from Sound Choice for $24 and convert them for $36 each and even mail them to you original + converted with free shipping.

lyquiddye,
I'm not a KJ(YET)
so.. if I bought a soundchoice CDG for 24 dollars. Chances are I can only sing
1 or 2 songs in that CDG.
Where as the 3.99 per son.
You can make the CDG with all your favorite songs in one CD.
I still think it's much cheaper this way.

it IS cheaper per song...
unless you get a cdg that has ALL 15 songs you really want.
Chances of that are slim to none!
I have 16 customs, and I AM a KJ!!

There is a difference in audio quality between MP3 and CDDA. However, you'll find that as long as the track is encoded at 192kbps vbr or better you will be hard pressed to hear the differences. This is especially true in a noisy environment like a club or bar.
The main drawback to the purchased audio tracks is the lack of graphics. There are sites that allow you to purchase custom CDG's for about $5 per track which do include the lyrics.
