I'm looking for and actual digital recorder that I can hook up to make my recordings and to burn backup CDGs. Is there any such animal? |

To the best of my knowledge, there is no such animal that will both record a show and make backups of CDGs. However, check out your local Guitar Center, or other decent music store that sells recording equipment. There are digital recorders out there that you can use to record your show, and depending on how much you want to spend, you can even get one that will have a CD burner built into it. I personally have a Condre Tracer Express that I use to make backups. It is a stadalone CD duplicator that has two drives. Original goes in one, blank goes in the other, and you don't even have to push any buttons. It will not break through copy protection though, so your Sound Choice and some Chartbuster will not copy. This unit costs about $300 and you can hook it up to a computer via USB and use it as a USB CD burner. |
