Post subject:  dj songbook

i have kj pro to do my songbooks now love no problems . but im also a dj  does any one know a good program like kj pro to make a song book out of my reg cd  been looking cant find one   thanks

Since no one has answered this post I will give one solution.    Roxbox uses 2 data bases  cdg and mp3.. After developing a data base for each there is a songlist.mdb file in the roxbox folder which can be opened with excel..  Then open mp3files...Then you can format to your liking and print....

If you are digital then you want to try Latishaw's Karaoke Songlist Generator.
below is a demonstration of what it could do.

I detest the .net framework... and avoid it for software I use.

And I'm a proud owner of Chip's Speedbook software, and it's just fantastic.

Chip's Speedbook is great if you like to type and create discs. Latishaws uses your mp3's filename to create their database and I actually like how the printed songlist looks like on it. Used it to create my latest Karaoke update songlist. Being that nobody at my shows uses the song numbers anymore and just asks  for the song title and artist I like the idea that I can drop the disc and track numbers and save ink on printing. I can also print in three columns as well and have the artist name, song title and what versions are available.
