Karaoke Forums

Hello!  I suppose I should be all proper and introduce myself.

I'm in Calgary, Alberta.  I just finished my BFA in drama, with a minor in dance.  But back in high school I was a band/choir geek.  But now the only musical pastime I have is karaoke, and I drag my friends out as often as we can fit it into our busy schedules.

The first time I ever went to karaoke was when I was on an exchange in Japan back in grade 11.  They didn't have very many songs in English, so I usually ended up entertaining everyone with such gems as "Under the Sea" and "Locomotion."

I received my very own karaoke machine for Christmas a couple years ago, from my boyfriend's parents.  I like to  try out new songs in the privacy of my own home,but I sometimes share it with my friends.  I most recently brought it to the cast party for a play I was in.

Ummm...I really can't think of anything else to say, so I'll end my babbling now!
