I am just merging to a computer based karaoke show. I have looked at many host programs and decided PCKJ suited most of my needs. I would like some feedback from anyone out there using this program. My singer list is a little disappointing, its to small to read when you get a long list. I haven't figured out the waitlist or the purpose of the log yet. I would really like a way to keep my regular singers songs in an easy access file so I could keep their song versions handy. On a good note I love the key change and tempo change buttons, most programs don't offer tempo change and beleive it or not it is used frequently by singers saying this versions too slow or too fast. I like the "rack" feel of the program and can easily change to mp3 player if needed. I like how I can get a large search list window, however this poses a new topic and that is how to rename 90,000 files to read disc version, artist and song title so that it is all readable in the window. Thanks for any input

I use PCKJ

Singers get what ever version they write down. I have eliminated all duplicte songs in my book. Choosing the best version.

The singer list stinks but pckj is the best out there, until the next Virtual DJ upgrade to add Karaoke hosting.

I organize all my cd's into folders by maufacture then by number in 100's and each cd has it's own folder. I have about 2000 cd+g's now, pc is so much better than carring cd's.

If you plan to us library functions fo pcdj plan to have at least a gig of ram, for some reason this eats reasources.

I hear you,the256 of ram I had caused some embarassing moments my first show, I rushed out and got two 512 cards and it screams now. It is so easy to get songs in a hurry I don't even need books, they just tell me what they want 10 seconds later I press play.

Been using FX and KJ for almost 2 years myself and the only downfalls I see are 1. The singer window is waaayyy to small, 2. KJ does not log karaoke, 3. Kamikaze if not uninstalled or fixed can cause nightmares.
