I saw this one a PA mixer/amp description: "4 Input Channels (1/4" TS Phone and 3-Pin XLR Input Connectors) ". I have never heard of this kind of connector before. How do I connect my laptop audio output to it?

Thank you

You'll need a cable like this

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ ... sku=333053

Audio out of the laptop to 2 1/4" inputs on the mixer.

the 1/4 TS phone plug is similar to the plugs on headphones that you would plug in to your laptop.  It is just 1/4in instead of 1/8in like on your laptop

A XLR is the common plug used for microphones on pro audio equipment.

What you would probably want is a 1/8in male to 1/4in male adapter to plug your laptop into the mixer.  Usualy available at Radioshack or similar place.

Post a link to the mixer you are quoting, and someone is sure to be able to find the EXACT cable you will need.
